Volunteering in sport
VISPA (Volunteering in Sport and Physical Activity) is a volunteer scheme dedicated to sports volunteering.
It enables volunteers to earn points, rewards and recognition for volunteering in Newark and Sherwood.
Volunteer at the Palace Theatre, Newark
If you are interested in theatre, joining the Palace Theatre's support team could be just for you.
This is a voluntary group whose members assist in front of house duties, poster distribution and generally help by being ambassadors for the theatre.
There are also opportunities to meet the theatre's artistes, invitations to special events and most of all a chance to meet new friends.

Volunteer in our parks
The Friends of Sconce and Devon Park is a group of volunteers who assist the council with the management and maintenance of the park. The Friends meet every other month and new members are always welcome.
